Participation at the international conference TRADE: Transformations of Adriatic Europe (2nd – 9th c.) in Zadar

At the international conference TRADE – Transformations of Adriatic Europe (2nd – 9th c.) project’s PI Goranka Lipovac Vrkljan has held a lecture, in collaboration with colleague Ranko Starac, during which research of the Late Antique landscape modifications of the Vinodol valley have been presented. As an area onto which supposedly extended the saltus within which the Crikvenica’s pottery workshop operated the valley hold extreme importance for its understanding. Particular stress has been given to the road and seaborne communication and their continuity from Early Antiquity. The presentation is available here.
