Field reconnaisance at st. Petar and st. Martin bays on Krk island

Within the field activities on potential pottery workshop sites on the island of Krk, a team from project RED (F. Welc and A. Konestra) conducted a small scale reconnaissance of the coastal and inland areas of st. Peter (Soline) and st. Martin (Porat) bays on the island of Krk, aimed at evaluate the resources potential of the areas and the erosion processes which influenced the preservation of ancient remains and the morphology of the landscape within which the sites are located. The small lake Jezerce, located close to st. Peter bay, was survey in order to evaluate its potential significance for the workshop site.
